                     10: <p>
11: The latest build of Chimera demonstrates a highly experimental
12: implementation of Quartz rendering.  The current build locks you
13: into Quartz, but the Quickdraw renderer will still be available
14: via a pref in a later point release.  For now you're locked into
15: Quartz with the current build.  Also, printing with Quartz turned on
16: is pretty busted, so don't even bother. :)
                     17: <p>
18: Chimera 0.2.0 has much improved scrolling over previous versions.
19: Most importantly it now uses native Aqua scrollbars rather than
20: emulating the look via the Appearance Manager.  Scrolling is also
21: much faster, using both the wheel and the keyboard.
                     22: <p>
23: The tab browser feature has had some crash fixes and speed
24: enhancements.  You can now also cycle through tabs via the keyboard
25: and close tabs.  In addition the tab strip will auto-hide when only
26: one tab is being used.
                     27: <p>
1.13 hyatt 28: Support for Command and Shift clicking of links has been added.  You
29: can use Command+Click to open a link in a new window.  If you use the
30: Shift modifier, the window will load in the background.  You can also
31: make Command/Shift open tabs instead by setting the same pref that is
32: used by Mozilla.  The load links in background pref that Mozilla uses
33: is also supported by Chimera.  (These prefs aren't exposed in Chimera's
34: UI yet, so you'll have to enter your secret .mozilla dir and edit your
                     35: prefs.js by hand.)
                     36: <p>
1.10 hyatt 37: Chimera 0.2.0 has a new splash screen, application icon, and new toolbar
                     38: and sidebar icons.
                     39: <p>
40: Finally and most importantly Chimera has had many crash fixes and
                     41: stability fixes.
                     42: <p>

1.5 hyatt 49: Chimera has complete build instructions on mozilla's Web pages (under
50: the code name ChimChim).  You can find those instructions
                     51: <a href="">here</a>.
52: Be aware that the downloadable build listed above contains numerous
53: patches to Mozilla that have not yet been accepted, so any builds that
54: you do will not be as stable or as performant as the downloadable
                     55: build above.
1.3 hyatt 56: <p>
57: If you have questions about building, use the chimera mailing list or hop on to #mozilla, and someone can help you out.
