1.10 hyatt 8: <p><b>What's New In 0.2.0</b>
10: The latest build of Chimera demonstrates a highly experimental
11: implementation of Quartz rendering. The current build locks you
12: into Quartz, but the Quickdraw renderer will still be available
13: via a pref in a later point release. For now you're locked into
14: Quartz with the current build. Also, printing with Quartz turned on
15: is pretty busted, so don't even bother. :)
17: Chimera 0.2.0 has much improved scrolling over previous versions.
18: Most importantly it now uses native Aqua scrollbars rather than
19: emulating the look via the Appearance Manager. Scrolling is also
20: much faster, using both the wheel and the keyboard.
22: The tab browser feature has had some crash fixes and speed
23: enhancements. You can now also cycle through tabs via the keyboard
24: and close tabs. In addition the tab strip will auto-hide when only
25: one tab is being used.
1.13 hyatt 27: Support for Command and Shift clicking of links has been added. You
28: can use Command+Click to open a link in a new window. If you use the
29: Shift modifier, the window will load in the background. You can also
30: make Command/Shift open tabs instead by setting the same pref that is
31: used by Mozilla. The load links in background pref that Mozilla uses
32: is also supported by Chimera. (These prefs aren't exposed in Chimera's
33: UI yet, so you'll have to enter your secret .mozilla dir and edit your
34: prefs.js by hand.)
1.10 hyatt 36: Chimera 0.2.0 has a new splash screen, application icon, and new toolbar
37: and sidebar icons.
39: Finally and most importantly Chimera has had many crash fixes and
40: stability fixes.
42: Enjoy! <br>

1.5 hyatt 48: Chimera has complete build instructions on mozilla's Web pages (under
49: the code name ChimChim). You can find those instructions
50: <a href="http://www.mozilla.org/ports/fizzilla/ChimChim.html">here</a>.
51: Be aware that the downloadable build listed above contains numerous
52: patches to Mozilla that have not yet been accepted, so any builds that
53: you do will not be as stable or as performant as the downloadable
54: build above.

56: If you have questions about building, use the chimera mailing list or hop on to #mozilla, and someone can help you out.
