1.12 ! hyatt 5: The newest build is 0.2.0. <font color=red>I've had to
! 6: remove the binary because mozdev simply can't handle the
! 7: traffic. Once I get it moved to a site with more bandwidth, I'll
! 8: post the new link.

13: The latest build of Chimera demonstrates a highly experimental
14: implementation of Quartz rendering. The current build locks you
15: into Quartz, but the Quickdraw renderer will still be available
16: via a pref in a later point release. For now you're locked into
17: Quartz with the current build. Also, printing with Quartz turned on
18: is pretty busted, so don't even bother. :)
20: Chimera 0.2.0 has much improved scrolling over previous versions.
21: Most importantly it now uses native Aqua scrollbars rather than
22: emulating the look via the Appearance Manager. Scrolling is also
23: much faster, using both the wheel and the keyboard.
25: The tab browser feature has had some crash fixes and speed
26: enhancements. You can now also cycle through tabs via the keyboard
27: and close tabs. In addition the tab strip will auto-hide when only
28: one tab is being used.
30: Chimera 0.2.0 has a new splash screen, application icon, and new toolbar
31: and sidebar icons.
33: Finally and most importantly Chimera has had many crash fixes and
34: stability fixes.
36: Enjoy! <br>

1.5 hyatt 42: Chimera has complete build instructions on mozilla's Web pages (under
43: the code name ChimChim). You can find those instructions
44: <a href="http://www.mozilla.org/ports/fizzilla/ChimChim.html">here</a>.
45: Be aware that the downloadable build listed above contains numerous
46: patches to Mozilla that have not yet been accepted, so any builds that
47: you do will not be as stable or as performant as the downloadable
48: build above.

50: If you have questions about building, use the chimera mailing list or hop on to #mozilla, and someone can help you out.
