91: We are currently working on version 0.2 of Chimera. It should be
92: coming your way fairly soon.
93:

94: I received feedback from loyal Omniweb users requesting that I produce
95: numbers using the latest Sneakypeeks rather than 4.1b1. I was told that
96: the latest SP was substantially faster. That is absolutely true. Check
97: out Omniweb's improved numbers in the page load tests
98: here.

1.20 hyatt 100: I also received feedback from iCab users asking me to run
101: iCab through the page load tests. I should clarify why iCab was
102: left out of the tests. The problem with iCab is that it does not wait
103: until images on a page have loaded before it claims that the page is
104: fully loaded. This means that the numbers that it scores on the test
105: are inaccurate, because they don't include the time for loading images.
106: This is in direct violation of the specified behavior for load handlers,
107: so iCab was disqualified from all tests.
108:

1.18 hyatt 113: fixes. This build is also 5% faster than 0.1.2. :)

1.15 hyatt 118: For the curious, I have posted the results of a browser showdown
119: between the major OS X browsers. The clear speed winner? Chimera, of

1.17 hyatt 121: Of course all we do is speed right now, so until we're a full-featured
