Why is this project? There are serious privacy related questions with
personally identifiable
search data stored by the various search companies. Private data was already

released to the public by some companies, and is

an accident waiting to happen with other companies. In Yoda's words,
if you are not afraid,
you will be, you will be.

So how can you improve your own privacy? Chaff runs in the background, and every few minutes
issues a search query (using some random search terms) to your currently selected Search Engine,
which gets tied to your account and/or your IP address at your search provider. Attaching
random chaff
to your account makes it less unique, hence improving your privacy.

Note: If you want to add an area for user feedback to any of your pages, take a look at the notes.html
