21: <p id="intro">This is the the <b>Annozilla</b> project, designed to view and
22: create annotations associated with a web page, as defined by the <a
1.9 matthew 23: href="http://www.w3.org/2001/Annotea/">W3C Annotea project</a>. The idea is to
24: store annotations as RDF on a server, using XPointer (or at least XPointer-like
25: constructs) to identify the region of the document being annotated.</p>
26: <p>The intention of Annozilla is to use Mozilla's native facilities to
27: manipulate annotation data - its built-in RDF handling to parse the
28: annotations, and nsIXmlHttpRequest to submit data when creating
                     29: annotations.</p>
1.70 matthew 30: <p>To use Annozilla, you will need to <a href="installation/">install the
31: packages</a>, get set up with a user account with an annotation server <a

1.9 matthew 33: you should be ready to go.</p>
