! 12:
News, 27th November: The latest Annozilla release (0.3) does not work
! 13: with Mozilla 0.9.6, owing to some changed interfaces and so on. I am

1.9 matthew 16:
This is the the Annozilla project, designed to view and create
17: annotations associated with a web page, as defined by the <a
18: href="http://www.w3.org/2001/Annotea/">W3C Annotea project. The idea is to
19: store annotations as RDF on a server, using XPointer (or at least XPointer-like
20: constructs) to identify the region of the document being annotated.

                     21:
The intention of Annozilla is to use Mozilla's native facilities to
22: manipulate annotation data - its built-in RDF handling to parse the
23: annotations, and nsIXmlHttpRequest to submit data when creating
                     24: annotations.

                     25:
To use Annozilla, you will need to install the
26: code, get set up with a user account with an annotation server <a
                     27: href="http://annotest.w3.org/access">(e.g., the W3C test server) , and then
28: you should be ready to go.

1.8 matthew 29:
You can also see some screenshots - an
30: example of the sidebar in action, and the preferences panel.

1.11 matthew 31:
Version 0.3 is the latest release. It works with Mozilla builds between 0.9 and 0.9.4 (I think), but isn't so great with 0.9.6. (Netscape 6.01 will not work, but 6.1 and 6.2 should be be OK - I have not tested this myself.) Changes in 0.3 include:
