What is Audioscrobbler?

Audioscrobbler builds a profile of your musical taste using a plugin for your media player (Winamp, iTunes, XMMS etc..). Plugins send the name of every song you play to the Audioscrobbler server, which updates your musical profile with the new song. Every person with a plugin has their own page on this site which shows their listening statistics. The system automatically matches you to people with a similar music taste, and generates personalised recommendations.

Audioscrobbler Setup
What you're buddies have to do...
They can do one of two things:
1. Install AIMfire and use an Audioscrobbler ID in the login.

or

2. Add a link to their Info page on AOL to their Audioscrobbler homepage.
Example - a proper link would be like this: http://www.audioscrobbler.com/user/USERNAME (where USERNAME is your Audioscrobbler ID).

What you have to do...
To setup an Audioscrobbler ID on AIMfire, please fill in the optional Audioscrobbler field on the login screen. It's as simple as that! AIMfire will automatically add an Audioscrobbler link to your info page on AOL.

Why does it just constantly say 'loading...'?
If it continualy says 'loading...' it means AIMfire has found a valid Audioscrobbler link in the buddy's profile but it is unable to get the data from the Audioscrobbler server. Sometimes the Audioscrobbler servers are slow and unresponsive and also at times they do server maintenence. This is what causes this problem.
