1.6 ryabushk 62: <p>Q: What's difference from native Cookie Manage?<br>
1.17 ryabushk 63: A: The main diffirence is that this extension edits and adds cookies not just displays them.
64: it also has a handy filter feature, you can filter for a specific host in the cookies list
65: and the search result will be saved even if you close the browser.

1.2 ryabushk 67: <p>Q. How can I add a cookie.<br>
1.17 ryabushk 68: A. Select a cookie and click <i>Add</i> Button. Fill out all the fields. remember that characters ';' and '=' are used
69: as separators in storing cookies, so do not use them for cookie names or values.

104: Once I was working with an image verification system and needed to
105: edit cookie values for a session cookie. The Mozilla/Firefox cookie
106: manager is not something that could help in this case. Nor did any
107: other browser or tool I knew of or found on the web. So I decided
108: to create my own cookie editor.</p>
                    109:
1.2 ryabushk 110: This is the first <small>*to my knowledge*</small> realtime Cookie
1.6 ryabushk 111: Editor capable of editing session as well as, file stored cookies
1.2 ryabushk 112: natively in Mozilla.<br>
113: The need for this appeared at one point when I need to edit cookies on
114: the browser end to test image verification system.<br>
1.6 ryabushk 115: I looked all over the web but there was not any editor that would allow me to
116: edit session cookies, which was understandable since session cookies are
1.2 ryabushk 117: stored in the browser memory and removed upon terminating the browser.
1.17 ryabushk 118: And no browser, I knew ofm allowed you to edit cookie data, not even
1.2 ryabushk 119: Konqueror :-D.<br>
                    120: So I turned to <span style="font-style: italic;">MozDev</span> to see
121: if anyone has made such extension. But alas even there solution was not
122: found. One project (cookiemanager) started to develop such extentsion
123: but it did not take off. So after 3 days of research at XulPlanet,
1.6 ryabushk 124: perusing Mozilla Docs, and digging into the mozilla source code, <span
